Had I not traded it in I would have been out a full month of rental fees, a monthly payment on a new car I could not drive, and I likely would still have no answers. I continued to communicate with my case manager who eventually told me they would not reimburse me for my rental fees as that is not part of their warranty. I traded in the Palisade because I had lost all faith in the company and the vehicle itself. I called at 4 business days and they told me it would be 10 business days. I called customer care and was told I had a case number and I should be assigned to a case manager in 4 business days. I had to rent a vehicle to get me to work. I was told at the dealership that they had no loaner vehicles for me to drive, and it would take 1 MONTH for them to evaluate what happened to my car. I called the number and they got a tow truck to have my car towed to the dealership. I got a message on my screen not to drive the car anymore and it had a number for Hyundai BlueLink. I made it a little over a mile before it happened again. I turned the car off and started it again. It started slowing down and I was fortunately able to cross 4 lanes of … traffic to get to the shoulder. Silly me…I thought the engine was running since I was in traffic. An alarm went off and there was a message on the dash that said “shift to P or N to start engine”. But at just under 14,000 miles it powered down in the fast lane on the interstate.

I loved my 2021 Hyundai Palisade for the first 6 months I had it.
